Dionysios Stivas is Part-time Research Associate and Lecturer in the Department of Government and International Studies (GIS) of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). Dionysios has obtained academic degrees in International Relations, Government and International Studies, and International and European Law. In 2020, Dionysios earned his PhD degree from the GIS of the HKBU. Dionysios also holds a Master of Arts in the EU International Relations and Diplomacy from the College of Europe, Bruges, a Master of Laws in European Law from Maastricht University, and a Bachelor of Laws in International Law from The Hague University. Before arriving to Hong Kong to commence his PhD, Dionysios worked as a Legal Consultant for the Organization for the Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris.
