Mr. Conrad John Masabo, is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Government and International Studies at Hong Kong Baptist University. He obtained his first degree in History, Political Science and Education from the University of Dar es Salaam in 2010, awarded the African Union Commission Pan African Scholarship in 2013-2015, for the second degree in Governance and Regional Integration the Pan African University (PAU), and awarded Norwegian State Loan (Lånekassen) in 2015-2017 for an MPhil degree in Childhood Studies from Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Mr. Masabo is social scientist with a strong background political science, regional studies and childhood studies. Between 2011 and now, Masabo have served as a tutorial assistant (2011-2016), and as an Assistant Lecturer (2016-present) in Political Science at Dar es salaam University College of Education, a constituent college of the University of Dar es Salaam. Mr. Masabo has published in areas of Chinese politics, children rights, peace and conflicts and African democracy.
