Meeting with Marie-Armelle Lohier, Legal Counsel & Sustainability Manager at Siemens Mobility

Date : 12 October 2021

Our Year IV students (FREN4018) had the chance to meet with Marie-Armelle Lohier, Legal Counsel & Sustainability Manager at Siemens Mobility, who explained why sustainability has been gaining momentum in the business world for several years. She presented in great detail how she started to implement sustainable practices regarding environmental, gender equality, or mental health issues in her company. The discussion that followed with the students showed that this is not without challenges but in the end, it is profitable for all stakeholders: investors, customers, employees & consumers. Quoting Judith Wiese, Chief Human Resources Officer, Chief Sustainability Officer and member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG, Marie-Armelle Lohier recalled that “Sustainability (...) is not an option": corporate social justice is becoming the new normal and it is definitely a must to explore for the future careers of our students!
