About me

I obtained my Degree in Science of Education, French and German Studies from the University of Hamburg where I completed my thesis on The Education of Women as Reflected in German Journals of the Early Enlightenment.

After graduation I worked as a lecturer at Tongji University in Shanghai where I designed and taught German language classes at all proficiency levels (A1 – C1). Following that, I took on the role as a DAAD lecturer in Tartu (Estonia) where I also conducted research for my PhD project on subjectivation theories developed by Foucault and Butler and their application on Eastern European societies (supervised by Humbolt University Berlin).

Before joining the Department of Government & International Studies at Baptist University in 2025 as a DAAD representative, I worked as an Education Manager within the framework of German-Chinese student exchange programs in Berlin.
