About me

My research interests include immigration politics, intergroup relations, identity, and comparative social policy. 

I was previously awarded a Swire Scholarship from the Swire Charitable Trust, a China Research Award from the University of Oxford, and a Lord Fulton Memorial Prize from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. I also served as an associate professor at the Education University of Hong Kong, where I received the President's Early Career Research Excellence Award and the Dean's Research Output Prize in 2017.
