Visiting the Saint-Gobain Hong Kong & Macau plant in Yuen Long with on February 25 was a mix of industrial awe and unexpected fun! From witnessing cutting-edge (and fully automised!) mortar production to realising that even cement can have a "smooth finish", the experience was both educational and entertaining. Who knew a factory tour could leave you pondering tile adhesives (and carbon neutrality by 2050!) while craving Yuen Long’s famous wonton noodles? This super enriching discovery and encounter was made possible thanks to the support of the French Foreign Trade Advisors.
