On March 4, we had the privilege of welcoming two distinguished guests yesterday, both of them French Foreign Trade Advisors. In the first part, Bruno Botella, the CEO Asia and Pacific of Bouygues Bâtiment International, provided us with a very detailed and enthusiastic presentation of all Bouygues & Dragages Hong Kong Limited activities in the region. We owe them too many landmarks to list them all (and even more so as they are celebrating their 70th anniversary in the territory in 2025), but they are the ones responsible for building the Hong Kong Link Road of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge or the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal Building (see https://lnkd.in/drDuC2gA for more). The fact that Bruno presided over the destiny of the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille for 10 years made this encounter even more exhilarating. And then, we had the pleasure of welcoming (at a distance and on Zoom as she was in Australia) Maud Savary-Mornet, the Founder and CEO of BEYOND FINANCE CONSULTING LTD (Hong Kong), who offered us a broad and comprehensive picture of what impact investment is today, and hinted at upcoming drastic changes. An excellent opportunity to understand that finance can be meaningful, in its most virtuous sense (Clearly not adjectives that you often see associated with financial activities…).
